Global Conference on Interdisciplinary Approaches to Otherness and Alterity in Literature, Film and Culture. Research Seminar Series
This series envisages productive collaboration between lecturers and scholars who will speak in rotation at several universities during the academic year 2008/9.
Following through on our theme of otherness / alterity, the series will run, this academic year at Mary Immaculate College, Limerick, Ireland through the months: November, February, March, April and May with the possibility of additional sessions.
The series, involves the pairing of speakers from Mary Immaculate College, Aarhus University, and Deakin University who will offer a two-part seminar on a chosen common topic, to take place in M.I.C. Following the conclusion of the first year of the series we will publish papers developed from the various seminars in an edited essay collection.
We are pleased to announce that we have registered all of this year's seminar pairs.
